Hi everybody, this is my second 100 word challenge story. I'm still writing with the prompt: 'Suddenly I heard a crack'. I hope you enjoy this story....
100 Word Challenge
The Bloop. This
is the name given to a tremendously strong underwater sound that was detected by
American scientists in 1997. I had been searching for the cause of the Bloop
for over a year now. I was walking through snowy Antarctica, following increasingly
huge noises and sound waves when suddenly, I heard a crack. The ice underneath me
gave way and I fell into a pit. The pit had a water hole where I saw a shape
move past. I glimpsed an eye that looked as big as a table. I guess I had found
it!!
